Ephedrine Nasal Drops is used to relieve nasal congestion by making blood vessels in the nose narrower. You should not use the medicine if you have maois for depression in the last two weeks or you have a heart condition or an overactive thyroid gland or had an operation on your nose or sinuses recently.

Ephedrine causes the small blood vessels in your nose to become narrower. This reduces the thickness of the lining of your nose which is causing the congestion, and relieves the blocked-up feeling. This medicine helps by reducing body pain and fever.

ESKAFAN FORTE tablets contain artemether, lumefantrine which are blood schizonticides. Artemether is a Synthetic antimalarial derived from artemisinin. Mechanism of action, involves an interaction with ferriprotoporphyrin IX (“heme”), or ferrous ions, in the acidic parasite food vacuole, which results in the generation of cytotoxic radical species. The generally accepted mechanism of action of peroxide antimalarials involves interaction of the peroxide-containing drug with heme, a hemoglobin degradation by product, derived from proteolysis of hemoglobin. This interaction is believed to result in the formation of a range of potentially toxic oxygen and carbon-centered radicals.
