Bioglobin (immune globulin intravenous (human) 10%) is indicated in Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura to rapidly raise platelet counts to prevent bleeding or to allow a patient with ITP to undergo surgery [5-10].
Bioglobin (immune globulin intravenous (human) 10%) is indicated for the treatment of CIDP to improve neuromuscular disability and impairment and for maintenance therapy to prevent relapse.
Providing antibodies to help prevent infection in certain patients who have a weakened immune system. Some brands of Bioglobin are also used to treat patients with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP). Some brands of Bioglobin are also used to prevent infection in certain patients who have leukemia. Some brands of Bioglobin are also used to treat Kawasaki syndrome. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
